Mysterious Tooth Disappearance!

Jared lost his first tooth tonight! It had been loose, but he apparently isn't one to wiggle them. It seems to sort of gross him out. But as he bit into a roll tonight, it just came on out. It was after dessert, but he said he was still hungry, so we weren't all sitting around the table together. But we all turned when he shouted, "My tooth fell out!"
Sadly, the tooth was nowhere to be found, but blood on his bread and a gap in his teeth were sure signs that the Tooth Fairy would be comin' 'round tonight. He freaked out a little bit. He said it hurt, and it was all so sudden and a little bit emotional (you know, growing up is hard!)

We decided he'd better write a note to the Tooth Fairy, since he had no tooth to swap.
Writing a note to the Tooth Fairy

The note.

He was quite happy by the time he finished his note and slipped it under his pillow.
Zach loved all the excitement, and declared that he'd be losing a tooth soon, too, and could I please check to see if any were loose?

OK why are we up so late Susie? ha ha
At least you have an excuse - You have some money to drop tonight!
I cannot believe he swallowed his first tooth - ha ha - What a great story. He will definately never forget that one.
He looks so excited putting that note under his pillow.
Super cute!
