Happy Birthday, Zachary!

Wow, Zach is four today! I'm still trying to wrap my head around that. He's such a great kid, keeping us in stitches. And recently he has decided he wants to read. He was getting an inferiority complex as the only non-reader in the house. And when he decides to do something, he does it, by golly!

While he's probably not ready for C.S. Lewis, he sure does want to read that "knight book." And I'm sure he will some day! He picked it up and was looking for words he knew. He found "did" and "it."

Just this morning, a woman who had helped in his Sunday School class was over for a meeting. I think her comments fit Zach to a T. She said, "Now I know it's not just in Sunbeams that he can't sit still." This was as he was break-dancing in the middle of our meeting. "But he is sooo smart!"
