Valentine's Day

Grandma Lancaster sent us home from Phoenix with an unused gingerbread house kit. We decided to make a Valentine's cottage with it!

 

Jared had the idea to make a rocket. There's a yellow gummy bear in the cockpit.

 Jared made this gruesome love scene. On the left is Cupid (with red wings on his back), who is wielding a yellow toothpick "arrow." He has just launched one into the chest of the red gummy bear on the right, who will now fall madly in love with the yellow gummy bear standing next to him.

 Zach's all about the candy.

For dinner, we made pink heart-shaped pancakes. Yum!

Then we gave each other the cards we'd made for each other earlier in the week. This was my card to Zach. He was in love with a movie about the Space Shuttle at the time, so he got a space Valentine card.
